Inspired by a fallen hero.

The idea of donating socks to homeless Veterans was inspired by Marine Lance Corporal Kielin T. Dunn, the best Boot a team leader could ask for. While in high school, Kielin volunteered at a shelter for homeless children, sharing inspiring stories of positive outcomes.

Kielin dreamed of becoming a Marine since elementary school. Through hard work and dedication, he made that dream a reality when he enlisted in 2008. A proud member of the 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Kielin died at 19 years old while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

We honor his memory and continue our mission with him in mind.
